School started back and Lillie is now in second grade which is really hard to believe. She is doing well even though we continue to have challenges doing homework with her. Is that going to be something we deal with until she graduates? I hope not but guess we'll take it one day at a time.
I have moved back up to the older kids this year and am currently teaching sixth grade. It is a great team, even though I miss my old team and partner terribly! I enjoy the older kids and am teaching just science which I couldn't be happier about!
I have also begun graduate school. I am attending the University of St. Thomas and in a cohort program, we meet every Thursday night for a couple of hours. Each class is eight weeks which means the work load during the week is quite heavy. We have a paper due every week, plus reading, plus message boards and so on. I am really enjoying the class and like the people in my cohort a lot.
In addition to those changes we are expecting our little girl in about six and a half weeks. We have set up her room and Lillie's baby clothes have been washed and hung in her closet. Lillie is not real thrilled with the expected arrival of the baby but I'm praying that she will change once Marlee is here. I know her world is going to change significantly but it breaks my heart that she isn't excited about the arrival of her sister. My Mom said that I wouldn't go around her for a day or two when she brought Bryce home so I know this is normal. I love Bryce and am grateful for my relationship with him so I know this is all going to work out.
Other then that not much else is happening. I think all of the changes are about all I can handle right now my plate is very full! I thank the Lord for the changes and pray that He will continue to guide us through these changes.
